Wix Website Enhancement — Accessibility, Visual Design, SEO & Class Booking

Our current Wix website is functional but needs a refresh to better serve our community. We're looking for a skilled volunteer to help enhance the site's accessibility, visual design, and search visibility, and to build a booking page so families can easily sign up for our classes.

Accessibility improvements: review and update the site for WCAG best practices, including color contrast, alt text, keyboard navigation, and screen reader compatibility.

Visual/design refresh: modernize layout, imagery, and branding elements to improve overall visual appeal while keeping the site easy to navigate.

SEO and Meta Pixel setup: optimize on-page SEO (titles, meta descriptions, headings) and implement Meta Pixel tracking to support outreach and marketing efforts.

Class booking page: build a Wix booking/scheduling page (using Wix Bookings) so families can view available classes and sign up directly through the site.

Desired Skills: Wix platform experience (including Wix Bookings), web accessibility (WCAG/ADA), UX/visual design, and basic SEO/digital marketing tagging (Meta Pixel).

Organization Mission

At Next Generation Playground, our mission is to create an inclusive, sensory-friendly environment where neurodivergent children and their families can explore, connect, and flourish. While we work toward building our physical playground, we are already living out this mission through our current programming and community events. Each class, pop-up, and gathering is designed to offer a safe, supportive space that celebrates diversity, encourages creativity, and nurtures every child’s unique strengths.
