Board Member Recruitment and Candidate Outreach Support

We are looking for a volunteer with Board Development and Recruiting expertise to help move Temple of YES from planning into active candidate outreach. We already have a board role description, outreach language, and experience using several recruitment channels.

By the end of the project, the volunteer will:

* Review our existing materials and prior outreach briefly, without rebuilding work already completed.
* Identify and prioritize a targeted list of specific prospective candidates and/or referral contacts who may fit our two independent board seats.
* Focus on people with relevant backgrounds in media, music, education, technology, nonprofit governance, business, or community service.
* Adapt short outreach messages for the strongest prospects and recommend the best method for contacting each one.
* Help organize an initial round of outreach and provide a simple method for tracking responses and follow-ups.
* Provide a short screening and qualification checklist to assess commitment, fit, and independence.

Success will mean that Temple of YES has a practical prospect list, ready-to-use outreach materials, and active introductions, referrals, or candidate conversations underway. Appointment of the final two directors cannot be guaranteed, but the project should move us beyond general strategy and into direct recruitment activity.

Temple of YES, Inc. is a nonprofit educational media ministry creating original music, television, video, and audio programming designed to encourage hope, reflection, belonging, gratitude, forgiveness, and human connection. Our programming uses multiple musical traditions and free public distribution channels to reach people who may feel lost, left out, or left behind.
