About the Opportunity

We hope to restore Google for Nonprofits eligibility and Workspace access to strengthen IMA's communication and administrative capacity, enabling us to better provide affordable, high‑quality music instruction AND community arts programming to children, including those in underserved NYC communities and school partners. We also give instrument petting zoos and free museum visits and did a recent performance at Lincoln Center. We say 'a music school without walls' but that may have also triggered our denial.

We'd like a consultant to help us:
- Review why Google/Goodstack has classified IMA as ineligible.
- Determine whether IMA, as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization providing music instruction and community/cultural programming, can qualify under Google's current rules.
- Review IMA's website and organizational descriptions for language—particularly “music school”—that may be causing it to be classified as an excluded school.
- Recommend accurate changes to website/organizational language without misrepresenting what IMA actually does.
- Help prepare and submit the Goodstack/Google re-verification or appeal.
- Restore/secure Google Workspace for Nonprofits eligibility if possible.
