RFP Grant Review

Bridge Over Troubled Water exists to help young adults prepare for opportunity, access opportunity, and successfully navigate the transitions that shape their careers. To do that well, we need the resources to provide the relationships, training, paid experiences, practical supports, and continued engagement that help young adults move forward and sustain their progress.

This project will directly support that mission by helping us compete for funding that can turn our vision and program model into greater impact for young adults.

We have identified funding opportunities that align with our work and can provide the volunteer with those opportunities, deadlines, requirements, and existing organizational materials at the start of the project.

Our leadership will work directly with the volunteer, provide timely access to information and feedback, and remain actively involved throughout the grant development process. We understand that successful grant writing requires collaboration, so we are prepared to gather supporting documents, answer questions, review drafts, and make decisions quickly to keep applications moving.

Organization Mission

Bridge Over Troubled Water (BOTW) exists to empower opportunity youth aged 18-24 in Richmond, Virginia, by equipping them with the skills, support, and experience needed to secure meaningful, family-sustaining careers. Through comprehensive training, mentorship, strategic partnerships, and work-based learning opportunities, BOTW aims to break cycles of poverty and create pathways to economic stability and personal growth.
