About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Nonprofit Fundraising Consultant to design, structure, and help execute our 2026 Year-End Fundraising Campaign. As a nonprofit publisher, our work relies on web-based giving, audience contributions, and online community support.

Our main objectives for this campaign include:
- Maximizing digital donor retention by converting casual podcast listeners into recurring, ongoing donors.
- Setting clear, realistic fundraising goals for our team.

Scope of Work:
- Strategy & Campaign Design: Develop a end-to-end strategy and timeline for the 2026 year-end campaign (running late October through December).
- Crafting a cohesive digital storytelling narrative optimized for email, web, and social media channels.
- Creating scripts for our podcast hosts to encourage annual giving.

We don't have a specific $ goal for 2026 fundraising. Funds raised in the annual campaign will allow us to improve pay rates for our creators and crew!

This year (2026) will be fourth annual campaign. We have learned from prior years what works and what doesn't. We have a database of donors, including major donors. The large audience of our four weekly podcasts are an excellent base for promos. We have the graphic assets, email copy and host scripts from prior years to use as a basis for 2026.
