Free Brands is a survivor-led nonprofit that creates entrepreneurship pathways for survivors of trafficking and gender-based violence, so they can build businesses and lasting economic freedom. This December we run our biggest campaign of the year, and we want to spend the fall building a real, engaged audience so that when the holidays arrive, people are ready to shop from and support survivor-owned businesses. We are looking for a social media strategist to help us build that plan. We would love guidance on which platforms deserve our focus, what to post and how often, how to grow a genuine following rather than a vanity number, and how to sequence our content through the fall so momentum peaks in December. The deliverable is a clear, practical strategy we can actually execute, including a content calendar framework and the kinds of posts that move people from following us to buying and giving.
Every new follower we earn is a potential customer for a survivor-owned business or a future supporter of our work. A real audience, built with intention, is how we turn attention into dollars that flow into survivor-led economies during the season that matters most. For a solo founder posting between everything else, a strategist who can hand us a plan worth following is genuinely high-impact, because the audience we grow this fall keeps paying off long after the holidays.
I will share who we serve, our audiences of survivor entrepreneurs, purpose-driven supporters, and funders, our current channels and what has and has not worked, and the calendar of campaigns we are building toward this fall and winter. We are looking for a strategist who can help us turn scattered posting into an intentional plan that grows our reach and build trust.
