We would like to work with a skilled web designer to develop a clear, user-friendly website structure and design blueprint for YTNRI’s WordPress website.

The volunteer would help us:

* Review and assess our current WordPress site.
* Interview our team to understand our goals, audiences, programs, and technical capabilities.
* Develop a recommended site map and navigation structure.
* Organize our existing content and identify key pages and calls to action.
* Create wireframes and design concepts for priority pages.
* Recommend accessible, mobile-friendly design approaches.
* Provide guidance on WordPress features that are practical for a small nonprofit to maintain.
* Develop a final website architecture and design guide that can be handed off to a future developer or implemented by our team.

We have already gathered our branding materials, photos, draft content, program information, and examples of websites we like. Our team will provide timely feedback and participate in regular check-ins throughout the engagement.

The final product will give YTNRI a practical roadmap for building a professional, sustainable website that can grow with our organization and better connect youth, families, employers, partners, volunteers, and supporters to our work.
he final deliverable would be a clear implementation guide that can be shared with a future developer or used by our team to complete the website. We have already gathered our branding, photos, draft content, program information, and examples of websites we like.

Our goal is to complete the project, if possible, before our next youth cohort begins in October 2026, so the website can help youth, families, partners, and supporters access information and opportunities as our programs expand.
This project will directly support YTNRI’s mission by creating a digital platform that connects youth and families to opportunities, resources, and services that promote leadership, career development, and economic mobility.

A well-designed, accessible website will make it easier for youth ages 12–24 to discover programs, workforce opportunities, and resources; for families to understand how to access support; and for employers, community partners, volunteers, and funders to connect with YTNRI.

The volunteer’s expertise will help us build more than a website—it will help create a lasting tool for outreach, engagement, partnership-building, and access to opportunity. Their work will strengthen YTNRI’s capacity to reach more young people and support them on their pathway toward education, employment, and long-term success.
YTNRI is prepared to make this project successful. We have already established our WordPress platform and gathered key materials, including our branding, mission and program information, photos(future), draft content, audience information, and examples of websites (to your discretion as experts).

Our leadership team is committed to the project and will provide a primary point of contact, timely feedback, and access to the information the volunteer needs throughout the engagement.

We have also identified how the project outcomes will be implemented. The final site architecture, wireframes, and design recommendations will serve as a roadmap for a future WordPress developer or member of our team to build and maintain the website.

Our goal is to create a sustainable, user-friendly website that our small nonprofit team can manage and update as YTNRI grows.
