Research and compile a concise list of grant and funding opportunities to support our emergency response and recovery work. Include eligibility notes, application links, typical deadlines, required materials, and recommended next steps.
Identifying relevant grants will expand our capacity to respond and recover in communities affected by disasters, especially under-resourced areas. Volunteer research will directly support efforts to connect people to resources, mitigate risks, and restore lives and communities.
We are an all-volunteer team and will provide context and available background materials so volunteers can focus on research. Volunteers will collaborate with our team in short check-ins to refine priorities. We will review findings together and decide next steps for pursuing funding.

Organization Mission

We are activated by Emergency Managers for FEMA defined disasters and monumental events that may not be FEMA disasters but are disasters for that community. We partner with multiple entities to help people and communities recover from devastating events. Our mission is focused on response and recovery to restore lives and communities. Many of the communities that we serve were under-resourced, had poor infrastructure, and many other issues prior to the occurrence of a disaster and this makes recovery far more difficult. We come in and help to mediate risk factors, connect people to resources, and more.
