We’re seeking a volunteer to assist us with preparing a board-ready budget proposal created from our existing template after a review of our financial records. The volunteer will analyze income and expense categories, develop realistic spending forecasts, document key planning assumptions, and produce a budget summary with line-item breakdowns and the percentage of the total budget allocated to each category.
A realistic, implementable budget will help ensure funds are allocated to educational and job training scholarships for human trafficking survivors, advocacy programs, and provide a roadmap for us to operate as efficiently as possible in order to maximize our impact. Volunteer expertise will strengthen financial planning so the organization can better empower survivors and prevent exploitation.
We will provide our board-friendly budget template designed for those with no accounting or board governance background and share financial records and context with the volunteer. The volunteer will collaborate with our team to refine assumptions and produce a version suitable for board review.

Organization Mission

Made for Freedom Foundation works to break the cycle of human trafficking and exploitation by addressing the root causes that make people vulnerable—poverty, lack of education, and limited access to safe, dignified employment. We believe freedom is sustained by empowering individuals through opportunities for economic advancement. Our mission is to combat human trafficking and exploitation by empowering survivors and at-risk individuals through educational and job training scholarships, while raising awareness and advocating for prevention in communities worldwide.
