We are using Hubspot Starter kit currently for our CRM. We have about 1,300 marketing contacts and another 500 non-marketing contacts. We have about a dozen fields that are critical and well-maintained. There are many extraneous fields (either HS-specific or extraneous). I'd like someone to review our database to reduce extraneous field clutter and also educate me on HS-pre-built fields to understand whether or not I should be using them. I'd also like to improve the process of adding contact records. This is currently done automatically via forms on our website (and other processes, including ingestion of followers from LinkedIn) that has led to duplicate contacts. We have recently cleaned this but could use a better process. We imagine this could take a few hours/week over the next several weeks. Can be enhanced with AI. I'm also open to contact maintenance suggestions for process improvement.
Support our mission by allowing us to reach our contacts with bulk emails (quarterly newsletters) about our pro bono expert services. This save me a lot of time as Vice President of Board and set us up for success with marketing initiatives going forward. This will help us reach our followers in an optimal way. My current staff is not formally trained in HS or marketing which has led to a lot of pain points.
We will share access to our CRM and will brief the volunteer on our current processes and sticking points within the system and through our integrations.

Organization Mission

Public Interest Experts (PIE) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit seeking to advance social justice and equity by providing world-class, commercial-level litigation support (including expert witness and case management services) on a pro bono basis to public interest litigators, advocates and other lawyers and policy makers focused on these goals. In the commercial space, expert witness and case management services are part of an efficient market where parties can afford to pay top dollar for these best-in-class services. In the public interest space, there is less funding and resources than in the commercial space. As a consequence, public interest legal and policy advocates under-utilize the valuable contributions experts can provide.
