Marketing Strategy and Brand Messaging Framework
As a student-led nonprofit, we have focused on building our programs, community partnerships, and operational infrastructure. We are now ready to strengthen how we communicate our mission and engage supporters through a consistent brand and marketing strategy.
Over approximately 6-8 weeks, the volunteer will learn about our mission, audiences, and organizational goals. They will review our existing website, communications, and branding materials before developing recommendations that our team can implement long after the project concludes.
The final deliverables should include:
-A nonprofit marketing and communications strategy
-Brand messaging and key messaging guidelines
-Brand voice and tone recommendations
-Recommendations to strengthen our visual brand identity
-Audience and communications recommendations for donors, volunteers, and community partners
-Marketing priorities and outreach recommendations
-Guidance on free or low-cost marketing tools and workflows appropriate for a student-led nonprofit
Our goal is to build a strong marketing foundation that will guide all future communications and outreach efforts while remaining practical for a volunteer-run organization.
By establishing a strong communications foundation, we will be better positioned to recruit volunteers, strengthen community partnerships, attract donors, and raise awareness about the needs of individuals and families we serve throughout Orange County.
The volunteer's expertise will create a lasting framework that our organization can use to communicate consistently, build trust within the community, and support our long-term growth.
A dedicated project lead will coordinate meetings, provide timely feedback, answer questions, and ensure the volunteer has access to any information they need throughout the engagement.
Our leadership team is committed to implementing the volunteer's recommendations after the project is complete. Because we are a student-led nonprofit, we especially value practical, sustainable strategies that can be maintained with limited time and resources.
