Build a strategic technology roadmap and platform recommendation report to streamline our intake and referral process for grieving families. Dallas Lamar Project is launching a peer support model this September, and we need a volunteer to help us transition from manual processes to a reliable digital workflow.

During this project, you will:
• Review our existing peer support and referral model to design a proposed client intake-to-follow-up workflow.
• Evaluate 3–5 affordable platforms (e.g., CRM or case management tools) and provide a pros/cons list focused on our specific needs for data security and ease of use.
• Create a prioritized implementation roadmap that identifies essential 'must-haves' for our September launch versus 'nice-to-have' features for later phases.
This work will help Dallas Lamar Project enroll and support grieving families more reliably, speed referrals to trusted community partners, and track follow-up so families don’t fall through the cracks. Volunteers will enable accessible, compassionate care and stronger community-centered healing.
Our leadership has defined the peer support and referral model and set a September launch timeline. Staff and stakeholders will be available to share current processes, intake questions, and consent needs. Volunteers can expect regular check-ins
