Community Engagement Toolkit

Develop a comprehensive, nonpartisan Community Engagement Toolkit that includes presentation slides and tabling materials tailored to young voters, Latino and Black communities. Volunteers will work with the League's DE&I Committee.

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan organization dedicated to empowering voters and defending democracy.

Broward County is one of the most diverse counties in the nation. To fulfill our mission, we must ensure that all communities have equitable access to accurate, understandable, and culturally relevant voter information.

This project will strengthen our ability to engage residents who have historically been underrepresented in civic participation, particularly young adults and Latino and Black communities. By improving how we communicate and educate, we can expand community engagement, build trust, increase voter participation, and help ensure every eligible voter has the information needed to make informed decisions.

The toolkit will also create sustainable resources that can be used by volunteers throughout future election cycles, multiplying the long-term impact of the project.
