Identify and prioritize four open non-USA Hockey grant and fundraising opportunities for youth hockey organization. Support pursuing them by creating a master grant application template and outreach messages that can be adapted for each opportunity, alongside completed application drafts for the top 1–2 priority targets. Specific opportunity criteria and organizational materials will be provided during volunteer interviews.

Securing grants and donors will help the organization continue its mission to develop, resilient and confident hockey players of color by reaffirming their identity through providing support and a network of peers. Grants will be used to fund programs, support services, and building peer networks that reaffirm identity. Volunteers’ work will directly support sustaining and expanding these identity-centered hockey opportunities.

Details about needed materials, contacts, and priority areas will be provided during interviews so volunteers can hit the ground running. Volunteers will collaborate with staff to refine applications, tailor outreach, and hand off submissions and follow-up plans to the team.
