We'd like to work with a skilled professional who can help us translate our Excel financial workbook for past fiscal year (ended June 2026) into a completed Form 990-EZ, identify any missing documentation, review and reconcile line items, flag inconsistencies or red flags, and provide a guided walkthrough explaining calculations so our team can understand and maintain future filings.
Accurate 990-EZ filing preserves compliance and donor/funder confidence, which helps secure funding for our arts programs. Volunteers will strengthen our financial transparency and capacity so we can continue providing equitable arts education, portfolio development, and creative opportunities for BIPOC and other students!
We have an organized Excel workbook with income, expenses, and program/admin breakdowns for the current and prior fiscal year that will be shared.

We will be available for collaborative sessions, will implement agreed corrections, and will use the walkthrough to improve future bookkeeping.

Organization Mission

Students will prepare for their college and career experience by giving them the tools needed to succeed as artists, designers, photographers, and creative writers. We believe that all students are capable of achieving success in their chosen field of study. Art programs in public schools are disappearing and it is despairingly affecting BIPOC schools. Studies have shown that art should still be implemented in classrooms because it impacts students in positive ways. We strive to ensure equitable access to various resources, including developmental classes centered on photography, digital media, and traditional visual art techniques. Additionally, we offer creative teaching opportunities to assist students in developing their skills and building a portfolio for future careers in the arts.
