Unruled Masses is seeking a skilled volunteer to help us establish and optimize our Google Ad Grant program so we can increase awareness of our mission, attract volunteers and supporters, and connect more people with our civic engagement resources.

The volunteer will help us build a strong foundation by reviewing our current website and goals, organizing a Google Ad Grant account, creating campaign structures, developing ad groups, researching keywords, and writing effective ad copy aligned with our mission.

We would also like assistance with setting up conversion tracking, ensuring the account complies with Google Ad Grant policies, and providing recommendations for improving campaign performance over time. If possible, we'd appreciate documentation or a simple guide that our team can use to maintain the account after the project concludes.

By the end of the engagement, we hope to have a fully configured and compliant Google Ad Grant account, several active campaigns promoting our key initiatives, conversion tracking in place, and a clear plan for ongoing management. This project will give our organization the tools needed to reach more people while making effective use of Google's monthly Ad Grant.
Unruled Masses is building tools and resources that empower people to participate in civic life, strengthen democratic institutions, and hold systems accountable through peaceful, evidence-based action. A Google Ad Grant will help us reach people who are actively searching for ways to get involved, learn, volunteer, or access reliable civic resources.

By helping us build and optimize our Google Ad Grant account, the volunteer will enable our organization to make full use of up to $10,000 per month in Google Ads credit—resources that would otherwise go unused. Their work will increase the visibility of our educational content, volunteer opportunities, and community initiatives, allowing us to connect with more individuals, organizations, and communities that share our mission.

The systems and strategies developed during this project will continue benefiting our organization long after the engagement ends. The volunteer's expertise will help create a sustainable digital outreach program that expands our reach, strengthens community engagement, and supports our long-term mission of building a more informed, connected, and civically engaged society.
We've already identified the goals we'd like to achieve with the Google Ad Grant and have the leadership team's full support for this project. Our team will provide the volunteer with background information about our organization, our target audiences, key programs, website access (as needed), branding materials, and any existing marketing content that may be helpful.

We'll designate a primary point of contact who will be available to answer questions, provide timely feedback, and make decisions so the project can move forward without unnecessary delays. We understand that Taproot projects are collaborative, and we're committed to respecting the volunteer's time by being responsive and prepared for each meeting.

Once the project is complete, our communications team will implement the recommendations and continue maintaining the Google Ad Grant account using the documentation, processes, and best practices developed during the engagement. Our goal is not only to launch successful campaigns but also to build a sustainable system that our team can manage and continue improving over time.
