Identify and recruit researchers, clinicians, patients, and family advocates for the charity's podcast, Sharing the Hope. Coordinate outreach and availability, and schedule confirmed interview times. Provide a prioritized contact list and confirmed appointments; with a target of one podcast episode released a month for 12 months. Additional specifics will be provided during volunteer onboarding.
Connecting researchers, clinicians, patients, and family advocates on our podcast will amplify research progress, share lived experience, foster collaboration across the HLHS and CHD community, and raise awareness that supports research toward treatments and cures.
The Podcast is a year and a half old now and is named Sharing the Hope. We have an established editor and a rapport with many of the pertinent organizations where the researchers and doctors would be associated with. We will share target criteria, background materials, availability windows, and sample questions. The volunteer will coordinate outreach with our lead contact, and we will be available to review messages and confirm bookings to ensure interviews proceed smoothly.
