Marketing and Communications Strategy

H.O.P.E. (Habits, Ownership, Purpose, and Execution) Leadership Group is a newly launched Texas nonprofit serving 7th and 8th-grade student-athletes through a near-peer mentorship program in Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City ISD (school district). We are building our brand from the ground up and need help establishing a clear, consistent brand voice and identity that resonates with student-athletes, parents, coaches, and funders. The deliverable we are looking for is a brand messaging guide that includes our core messaging, tone of voice, key talking points for different audiences, and templates we can use consistently across our website, social media, and outreach materials.

H.O.P.E. Leadership Group exists to develop student-athletes into disciplined, accountable young people through mentorship. Right now, our mission is stronger than our message. A clear brand voice and consistent messaging will help us reach more student-athletes who need this program, attract the funders and partners who can help us grow, and build the credibility that turns community awareness into community trust. The volunteer who helps us with this work is not just shaping how we communicate. They are helping us reach the next generation of young people who need what H.O.P.E. Leadership Group has to offers.

The Executive Director will serve as the primary point of contact and is directly involved in all aspects of the organization. We have an active website, social media presence, and program materials ready to share with the volunteer from day one. Our board has full buy-in on the need for stronger brand messaging. Any guide or templates developed through this project will be put to immediate use across all of our communications and outreach efforts.
