Verify qualitative data accuracy and categorization using the provided Excel sheets. Reconcile where possible and produce a clear, grant-ready financial overview and accompanying financial statements for FY July 2025–June 2026. Specific report formats and details will be discussed with volunteers.
A grant-ready financial overview will strengthen our funding applications and help sustain equitable arts education for students, especially in BIPOC schools. This work directly supports programs in photography, digital media, and visual arts and the portfolios and career readiness of the youth we serve.
Most books are already built and we will provide the Excel sheets and source data. Volunteers will work with our team to clarify transactions and categorization; details will be provided during interviews. Our staff will review and implement the final statements for grant submission and for our 990 EZ.

Organization Mission

Students will prepare for their college and career experience by giving them the tools needed to succeed as artists, designers, photographers, and creative writers. We believe that all students are capable of achieving success in their chosen field of study. Art programs in public schools are disappearing and it is despairingly affecting BIPOC schools. Studies have shown that art should still be implemented in classrooms because it impacts students in positive ways. We strive to ensure equitable access to various resources, including developmental classes centered on photography, digital media, and traditional visual art techniques. Additionally, we offer creative teaching opportunities to assist students in developing their skills and building a portfolio for future careers in the arts.
