We are looking for a marketing volunteer to create a comprehensive marketing 'playbook' and launch strategy for our upcoming poetry collections, starting with our September release.

Our mission is to support emerging and low-income authors, and your work will ensure their voices reach a wider audience. This project will focus on building a repeatable framework that our small team can use to promote 4-5 books per year efficiently. The volunteer will:

- Audit our current marketing efforts and assets.
- Develop a 3-month launch timeline/checklist for the upcoming September book.
- Create templates or guidelines for [social media/email/press outreach] that we can adapt for future authors.
- Advise on low-cost strategies to maximize visibility for poetry titles.

We will provide manuscripts, author bios, and our organizational values to get you started. Success looks like having a clear, actionable plan that reduces the time our staff spends on manual promotion while increasing book sales and author exposure.
Through working with our organization on this project, the volunteer will help ensure that the emerging and low income authors we publish receive adequate marketing for their books.
To prepare for the project, we will provide you information on the next two books we're publishing as well as information on our values and our mission.
