A high-level review of Swim Across America’s technology environment covering software platforms, user access controls, data security practices, and policies for five staff and 25 volunteer leaders. Deliverables: a prioritized list of risks and recommendations, suggested tools, and training guidance. Specifics will be discussed with volunteers.

Improving cybersecurity will protect donor and volunteer information, preserve operational continuity for charity swims, and maintain community and donor trust. Stronger security helps Swim Across America continue awarding grants for cancer research, clinical trials, early detection, and patient programs.

Details will be provided during interviews. Volunteers will work with our five staff members and 25 volunteer leaders to review current processes and documentation. We will coordinate time for interviews and share platform lists so volunteers can produce practical, nonprofit-appropriate recommendations.
