Digital Advertising Strategy & Campaign Playbook

Help V4DF expand its reach by developing a comprehensive digital advertising strategy. We use various platforms to promote civic engagement, but need a technical expert to organize these efforts into a cohesive plan that our team can execute independently.

The pro bono consultant will deliver:
• Channel allocation recommendations (Meta, Google, Programmatic, CTV) based on our audience goals
• A guide for setting up geographic, contextual, and retargeting audiences
• Reporting templates and KPI definitions (CPM, CTR, conversion rates)
• A best practices manual for launching and optimizing future campaigns

You will work directly with our messaging and creative teams, who will provide all brand materials and audience data. Success is a finalized playbook your staff can use to execute digital ad buys.

V4DF was founded on the belief that democracy only survives when citizens are informed, engaged, and willing to hold their elected officials accountable. This project will help us communicate that message more effectively, expand our volunteer and supporter network, and increase public engagement around the constitutional principles and democratic institutions that unite us as Americans. By strengthening our outreach, we strengthen our ability to build the long-term civic movement needed to preserve our democracy.

To set this project up for success, I will come prepared with a clear statement of the problem, the audience we are trying to reach, and the specific outcome we need from the volunteer team. V4DF already has a defined mission, core messaging, and an urgent civic engagement focus, so the goal is not to start from scratch but to help us sharpen, organize, and execute.

I will provide background materials, draft content, brand direction, target audience information, and timely feedback throughout the project. I will also make myself available for regular check-ins, keep decisions moving, and be clear about what is essential versus what can wait.

Most importantly, I will treat the volunteer’s time with respect by coming prepared, responding quickly, and making sure their work is put to immediate use in advancing V4DF’s mission.
