We're looking for a volunteer skilled in web development to help us add a donate button, build a merchandising/product page, add an email signup form, and tighten site formatting for improved readability. Provide hands-on mentorship and documentation for our freelance website master so these features are easy to update. Our site is hosted on Squarespace.
This work will strengthen The Black Arts Museum's online presence so funders, sponsors, and visitors can confidently engage, donate, buy merchandise, and learn about African American creatives. Improved functionality and mentorship will help the museum present a professional, up-to-date site that advances its mission.
We have an active website and an advanced-beginner freelance website master ready to learn. Volunteers will pair with that contractor to implement changes, share best practices, and produce maintainable configurations or simple documentation. Specifics and timelines will be discussed with volunteers.
