Help H.O.P.E. build a sustainable funding pipeline by delivering a prioritized list of 10-15 grant prospects and a comprehensive 12-month application calendar. Our organization supports 7th–8th grade student-athletes through mentorship focused on Habits, Ownership, Purpose, and Execution. To expand our impact, we need a strategic approach to fundraising. You will work directly with our Executive Director to research foundations and corporate giving programs aligned with youth development and sports-based leadership. The final deliverables will include: a researched list of grant prospects with alignment notes and contact information, a calendar of deadlines and reporting requirements for the coming year, and a brief review of our current program descriptions to ensure they are grant-ready.
By identifying funders and strengthening applications, volunteers will help H.O.P.E. secure resources to sustain and grow its near-peer mentorship for 7th–8th grade student-athletes in Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City ISD, advancing character-based leadership development rooted in Habits, Ownership, Purpose, and Execution and freeing staff to focus on program delivery.
The Executive Director will serve as the primary point of contact and collaborate regularly with the volunteer. We will provide program descriptions and any existing materials; fuller details and timelines will be provided during volunteer interviews. Volunteer recommendations will be used to pursue identified opportunities.
