CPA Review and/or Compilation of 2025 Financial Statements

Stars & Stripes NOVA Committee (Langer Consulting dba Stars & Stripes NOVA Committee) is seeking a licensed CPA to review and/or compile our 2025 financial statements.

Our organization has already completed the preparation of draft financial statements through a Taproot Volunteer. We are now seeking a CPA volunteer to perform an independent review and/or compilation of these financial statements and provide guidance regarding any adjustments, disclosures, or presentation improvements needed to meet professional standards.

The volunteer will review our draft financial statements, discuss any questions with organizational leadership, recommend necessary revisions, and provide a completed review or compilation report, if appropriate. We will provide all supporting financial documentation, accounting records, and draft financial statements needed for the engagement.

The ideal volunteer will be a currently licensed CPA with experience working with nonprofit organizations and financial statement reviews or compilations.

Through this project, the volunteer will help strengthen the financial transparency and sustainability of Stars & Stripes NOVA Committee. Accurate, professionally reviewed financial statements will enhance donor confidence, support grant applications, and help us secure resources needed to continue serving veterans, active-duty military members, first responders, and their families.

By contributing their expertise, the volunteer will play a direct role in helping our organization maintain strong financial stewardship and expand programs that provide critical support to those who have served our communities and nation.

Our team has already completed the initial financial statement preparation phase with the assistance of a Taproot volunteer. Using financial records and supporting documentation provided by management, the volunteer developed draft 2025 financial statements. All supporting financial information has been organized and is available for review.

Our leadership team is committed to providing timely access to records, responding promptly to questions, and implementing any recommendations arising from the CPA review and/or compilation. The final financial statements will be used to strengthen financial transparency, support fundraising and grant opportunities, and enhance organizational accountability.
