My goal for this Taproot project is to create a clear board recruitment strategy for Pacific Clinician Collective. I would like the volunteer to help define founding board roles, identify ideal candidate profiles, recommend recruitment channels, refine outreach language, and create a simple screening process for prospective board members.

The final deliverable should include a practical recruitment plan, board role priorities, candidate criteria, sample outreach copy, and recommendations for finding independent board members with nonprofit finance, EMDR/trauma clinical education, CE programming, governance, fundraising, or partnership experience.
Through this project, the volunteer will support our mission by helping Pacific Clinician Collective build a strong, independent founding board. A thoughtful board is essential for launching our CE and consultation programs responsibly, supporting nonprofit compliance, approving conflict-sensitive decisions, and protecting our mission to strengthen trauma-informed care by supporting the clinicians who provide it.
My team and I have prepared for this project by developing our mission, website, draft board needs, conflict-of-interest policy, revenue strategy, and initial target profiles. We can provide background on Pacific Clinician Collective’s programs, including continuing education, EMDR consultation, reflective practice, and scholarship-supported professional development.

I will be the main contact for the volunteer, respond promptly, provide feedback, and supply any needed materials. I am ready to use the final strategy to begin recruiting founding board members.
