Website Design Layout and Architecture

We seek a web designer to create structure and design options for our nonprofit website. We use Wix.com. The volunteer should assess and incorporate our goals and needs and consider our key audiences. The designer should also assess our technical capabilities. The project's deliverable is a draft of architecture and design concepts that we can easily share with a web developer volunteer or a member of our team who will use the guide to create our new site.

Our work will take place over multiple meetings in six to nine weeks. In our first meeting, the volunteer should interview us about our desired features, our web capabilities, and our technical expertise. Then, they'll synthesize the information into a requirements briefing. We'll engage in various check-ins, where a member or members of our team will provide feedback. The volunteer will audit our current site to create a draft of site architecture and design options including wireframes, site structure, and other visual elements.

Our organization was founded from a personal journey of overcoming gastrointestinal health challenges and a growing conviction that true wellness requires caring for the mind, body, and spirit. Through nutrition education, community partnerships, advocacy, and wellness initiatives, Sustained Life is working to help individuals and families move from survival to flourishing.

We are looking for a volunteer website designer or developer to help redesign and elevate our online presence at sustainedlife.net. This is more than a website project. It is an opportunity to help build a digital platform that educates communities, attracts supporters, amplifies advocacy efforts, promotes healthy living, and expands access to life-changing resources.

The ideal volunteer will help create a professional, engaging, and mission-driven website that reflects our vision of "Food Is Medicine" and showcases our programs, partnerships, speaking engagements, community impact, and educational resources.

By contributing your talents, you will directly support efforts to address food insecurity, chronic disease prevention, nutrition education, and community wellness. Your work will help us reach donors, volunteers, healthcare partners, faith communities, and individuals seeking healthier lives.
