* Prospective board members
* Major donors
* Foundations
* Community leaders
* Correctional facility leaders
* Strategic partners

The goal is to create concise, visually compelling materials that communicate impact, outcomes, growth opportunities, and ways to engage.

1. Executive Impact Summary (4 Pages): Create a professionally designed 4-page document based on an existing content toolkit and annual report. Versions:
* Donor & Partner Edition
* Board Leadership Edition (alternative Page 4)

2. Canva Source Files: Provide editable Canva files that Heart-to-Heart staff can update in future years.
3. Print and Digital Versions. Develop:
* Print-optimized PDF
* Email/web PDF
* Mobile-friendly PDF

Secondary Deliverable (if time permits)

4. Two-Page Leave-Behind: Create a condensed version suitable for:
* Board recruitment
* Donor cultivation meetings
* Community presentations
* Conferences and networking events

Desired Skills
* Graphic Design
* Annual Report Design
* Nonprofit Communications
* Visual Storytelling
* Canva
* Print Design
* PDF Layout Design

Design Goals

The final product should be:
* Professional and boardroom-ready
* Attractive but economical to print

* Appropriate for donor and board cultivation
* Accessible to audiences unfamiliar with incarceration, reentry, or Nonviolent Communication

Key Messages
* Building the Skills That Sustain Freedom
* 92% of participants completing 50+ hours remained free after three years
* Employment readiness and leadership development
* Nonviolent Communication as a foundational framework
* Capacity building and organizational growth
* Opportunities for engagement through board service, philanthropy, and partnerships

Estimated Scope
* Approximately 20–40 volunteer hours
* 3–6 weeks
* Remote collaboration
* 2–4 review rounds

Preferred Outcome
A polished communications toolkit that Heart-to-Heart can use for board recruitment, donor cultivation, community outreach, and future annual reporting efforts.
This project will support Heart-to-Heart's initial communication with new contacts for board recruitment, donor cultivation, community outreach, and future annual reporting efforts. Although we have a beautiful annual report, it is too long to use in initial communication with new contacts, as well as too costly to print. We need a concise document that presents the key information that a new contact needs to absorb when first learning about Heart-to-Heart's work to help people affected by incarceration to heal, thrive, and become the leaders they are meant to be.
Existing Materials Available

Heart-to-Heart will provide:

* 2025 Annual Report
* Executive Impact Summary Master Toolkit
* Approved messaging framework
* Theory of Change
* Program descriptions
* Organizational branding assets
* Photos and logos

Organization Mission

Heart-to-Heart helps those marginalized by society and in the most need to heal, thrive, and become the leaders they are called to be. We do this by forming learning communities in and out of correctional facilities through which people develop skills essential for personal and societal healing.
