A documented, automated and replicable accounting workflow and implementation plan that maps current manual handoffs to automated processes, defines segregation of duties, and includes step-by-step procedures and configuration recommendations. System specifics can be discussed with volunteers. Skills with QuickBooks would be a major value add to our project needs.

Automating accounting and strengthening controls will reduce administrative overhead, improve financial accuracy and transparency, and free staff time and resources to expand programs. Volunteers will help build sustainable capacity that directly supports youth impacted by juvenile justice, trafficking, and homelessness.

We have secured finance team buy-in, gathered current workflows, tech access, and internal control policies, and assigned our Finance Manager as the primary point of contact with weekly check-ins. We are prepared to pilot the new workflows during the next monthly close to refine the system.
