Design a Technology, AI, and Systems Roadmap for an Early-Stage Global Nonprofit (6–8 Week Project)

Creshendo is an early-stage, global nonprofit working with migrant and refugee communities across storytelling, integration, research, and economic mobility.

As we grow, we have accumulated a number of tools, subscriptions, and workflows across teams. We are seeking a volunteer to help us create a clearer, more sustainable technology ecosystem that supports our mission and reduces unnecessary complexity.

Over a 6–8 week engagement, the volunteer will help us:

* Conduct a high-level review of our current technology stack and workflows
* Create a centralized inventory of systems, subscriptions, ownership, and access management practices
* Identify opportunities to streamline tools and reduce duplication across teams
* Recommend best practices for password management, access controls, and operational governance
* Assess how AI can be integrated more strategically across departments
* Identify opportunities to consolidate one-off AI subscriptions and use cases into more scalable organizational solutions
* Develop a practical technology and AI roadmap that aligns with our size, budget, and growth plans

Key deliverables may include:

* Technology inventory and ownership tracker
* Systems and subscription audit
* AI opportunity assessment
* Technology and operations roadmap
* Recommendations for strengthening data privacy and operational infrastructure

This is a capacity-building project focused on creating a practical foundation that our team can maintain and build upon over time.

Creshendo operates across multiple countries and teams. Strong systems allow us to spend less time managing tools and more time serving communities.

By helping us build a thoughtful technology and AI strategy, you will strengthen our operational foundation, improve collaboration, support responsible data practices, and help us scale our impact more effectively as we grow.

You will work closely with our Executive Director, Executive Assistant, and team leads.

We will provide:

* Access to our current list of tools and subscriptions
* Background on how different teams currently work
* Information about our workflows, communication systems, and operational needs
* Clear priorities and timely feedback

We are looking for someone who can balance strategic thinking with practical implementation and help us build systems that are realistic for a volunteer-led organization.
