My Green Museum is an emerging children's museum in Kingston, NY in the very early stages of fundraising and community building. We're looking for help creating a written fundraising snapshot specific to our mission, our region and the current political and economic climate . This will help us assess local funding capacity and potential donor and partner sources in Ulster County and the Mid‑Hudson Valley. Specifically, we seek:

- A curated list of approximately 12–20 potential funding sources (e.g., regional foundations, corporate partners, public funding opportunities). It's important to note that we are fiscally sponsored and not eligible for government grants at this time.
- Brief summaries (2–3 sentences each) describing priorities, giving focus, and fit with our mission.
- A practical set of next steps that can be pursued by our small team of volunteers and board members.

If time allows, including leads on local consulting firms that conduct fundraising feasibility studies is a plus, along with cost estimates.
This study will guide fundraising strategy to help establish a children's museum in Kingston, enabling exhibits and programs that ignite environmental stewardship in children. Volunteers will help identify funding pathways and community partnerships that make the museum's mission achievable.
Our team will collaborate with the volunteer, provide organizational background and any available materials, and be available to discuss local contacts and context. Details, data access, and timelines will be provided during interviews so the volunteer can work effectively with staff.
