Expand and Refine Empowerment Journal Content for Youth Girls

Our existing empowerment journal covers topics, prompts and conversation starters for young girls in grades 3-5. We would like to grow this journal to have various editions that grow with the girls as they age through the program and so that the content varies slightly from season to season. We would like a volunteer to help us expand and refine an existing empowerment journal into age- and grade-specific fall and spring editions for 3rd–5th grade girls. Volunteer will develop and build out age-appropriate prompts, activities, reflection sections, and user guidance. Specifics will be discussed during volunteer interviews.

A tailored fall and spring empowerment journal for 3rd–5th graders will provide accessible, developmentally appropriate tools to build confidence, self-reflection, and leadership through sports, helping Leveling the Fields advance equal opportunities and empower future women leaders.

We will provide the current journal and collaborate with the volunteer through regular check-ins to review drafts, clarify age/grade-level objectives, and give timely feedback. Volunteers can expect a collaborative process and our commitment to review and adopt the final materials. Details will be provided.
