Create a Technical Blueprint and Roadmap for a Survivor App
We have already completed our UI/UX designs, user flows, feature requirements, and product vision. We are seeking a volunteer to review our existing work and provide expert guidance on the best technical approach before development begins.
During this engagement, we would like support with:
Reviewing our existing Figma designs and product requirements.
Recommending the most appropriate application architecture and technology stack.
Advising on security, scalability, privacy, and data protection best practices.
Defining the overall technical approach for building the application.
Prioritizing MVP features and recommending a phased development strategy.
Creating a realistic technical roadmap for the MVP and future releases.
Reviewing and refining the user experience for connecting survivors with lawyers, counselors, and other support professionals.
Providing recommendations for a secure and scalable service model, including provider onboarding, appointment workflows, payment processing, and the documentation needed to support future implementation (such as contracts, tax forms, invoices, and payment records).
The outcome of this project will be a comprehensive technical blueprint that will guide future software development and position NeverEverAlone for a successful MVP launch.
By developing this mobile application, we will be able to translate our vision into a functional tool that empowers survivors with discreet access to resources, safety planning, and support systems. The app is designed to prioritize privacy, ease of use, and real-time assistance, which are critical for individuals in vulnerable situations.
Ultimately, this project bridges the gap between intention and impact—enabling us to move from awareness to action and provide a tangible, scalable solution that can support survivors in real time.
We have secured organizational support for this project and have a dedicated founder who will serve as the primary point of contact throughout the engagement. We will be available for regular meetings, provide timely feedback, answer questions promptly, and ensure volunteers have access to all project materials needed to move forward efficiently.
The recommendations and work completed during this project will be implemented immediately. Our goal is to use the volunteer's expertise to establish a strong technical foundation, begin development of the MVP, and create a roadmap that will allow future volunteer developers and technical partners to continue building the application. This project is a critical step toward launching NeverEverAlone and providing survivors of domestic violence with a secure, accessible platform for safety planning, trusted resources, and ongoing support.
