We're seeking a volunteer to help us maximize our Google Ad Grant. This project will play a key role in our organization's ability to grow brand awareness and impact community members. This project may include the following activities:
-Development of or updates to our nonprofit's Google Ads strategy
-Training one or two staff members on how to update Google Ads and monitor their performance
-Setting up integration between Google Ads and Google Analytics
-Making recommendations for future search engine optimization or content management projects that will improve our Google Ads health

Our ideal volunteer has experience with Google Ads and/or search engine marketing and copywriting skills.
The Stray Point Project empowers artists with developmental and intellectual disabilities through art education, exhibitions, and community engagement opportunities that celebrate each artist’s unique voice and abilities. We have already been awarded a Google Ad Grant, but due to technical barriers and limited organizational capacity, we have struggled to fully access and fully utilize this valuable resource.

This project will directly support our mission by helping us activate and optimize our Google Ad Grant so we can expand awareness, reach more families, attract volunteers, strengthen community partnerships, and increase donor support for our programs and artists.

Volunteers with expertise in Google Ads, digital marketing, analytics, and nonprofit strategy will help transform an underutilized resource into a powerful platform for impact. Their support will help us create campaigns that connect people with our exhibitions, artist stories, volunteer opportunities, and mission-driven content that inspires community involvement and giving.

The impact extends far beyond advertising. Greater visibility means more opportunities for artists to share their work, more families finding inclusive creative communities, and increased support that helps sustain art education, exhibitions, materials, and programs.

Volunteers won't simply be optimizing ad campaigns—they will help amplify voices that are too often overlooked and create pathways for artists to be seen, valued, and celebrated.
To prepare, we have activated Google Ads for our website and secured a Google Ad Grant award. We are prepared to share the login credentials to our Google Workspace. In our first session together, we'll brief you on our marketing goals, as well as our mission, vision, and purpose. Your training of our team members on Google Ads best practices will help ensure the long-term successful implementation of the great work you share with us.
