A clear set of bookkeeping processes and practical deliverables to improve financial systems, reporting, expense tracking, and grant management. Deliverables may include documented workflows, reporting templates, a grant compliance checklist, and a short training plan; specifics will be discussed with volunteers.
Improved bookkeeping and compliance will strengthen CBEDC’s ability to manage public and philanthropic contracts, increase accountability, and free staff capacity. This will support expansion of workforce training, entrepreneurship, and community development so more local residents benefit from economic opportunities.
We have identified the need for stronger financial controls and will partner closely with volunteers. Details about existing systems, sample reports, and staff points of contact will be provided during interviews so volunteers can scope work that fits the weekly time commitment.
