My goal for this project is to give our website, steppingstoneskeller.org, a professional "non-profit look" that reflects our focus on empowering teenagers and young adults. We need a volunteer to:
- Media Refresh: Update the site layout using our provided photos and videos that highlight our work with youth.
- Volunteer Page: Build a dedicated "Volunteer Opportunities" page (mentorship, event help, etc.) with easy sign-up forms.
- Events Page: Create an organized events calendar for our youth programs and community fundraisers.
- Support Page: Redesign our "Ways to Give" section to be intuitive and compelling for those who want to invest in the future of local young adults.
At Stepping Stones Foundation, we believe that no young person should have to navigate the transition to adulthood or a life crisis in isolation. We serve as a vital bridge for teenagers and young adults in Keller, providing the stability, mentorship, and resources they need to build a future. Currently, our website doesn't fully capture the energy, potential, and life-changing impact of the specialized programs we offer. By helping us modernize our site, you are directly amplifying the reach of our core initiatives. Whether it’s our mentorship programs, emergency resource navigation, or community workshops, we need a digital home that clearly explains what we do and how the community can help. Your work ensures that:
- Our Programs are Visible: Potential participants can easily find and understand the specific support available to them.
- Support is Actionable: Donors and partners can see exactly how their contributions provide housing, education, and basic needs for local youth.
- Connections are Seamless: You are building the "digital front door" that turns a curious visitor into a dedicated mentor or donor. A professional, high-impact website builds the trust necessary to grow our foundation. Your technical skills ensure that any young adult looking for a path forward—or any neighbor looking to empower the next generation—finds a welcoming, clear, and inspiring place to start.
Help us turn our website into a true reflection of the heart and soul we pour into our youth every single day.
We have done the heavy lifting to ensure our volunteer partner can hit the ground running on day one. To set this project up for success, we have prepared:
- Content & Media Library: An organized folder of high-resolution photos and videos of our youth programs, ready for upload.
- Program & Event Details: Clear, written descriptions of our current programs and a calendar of upcoming events to populate the new pages.
- Infrastructure Ready: We have full administrative access to our WordPress dashboard and are prepared to provide credentials immediately.
- Direct Access & Feedback: I (Marian) will be the primary point of contact. I have cleared time in my schedule to provide prompt feedback, branding approvals, and any additional information needed to keep the project moving.

Defined Goals: We aren't looking for a "vague" update; we have a specific list of the forms and pages we need, so there is no guesswork involved in the deliverables.
