Maintain and enhance a custom Rails 7 CMS and event management system: update code to support Ruby 3→3.4x or 4.0 and prepare for a Rails 8 transition, port purchased HTML/WordPress Bootstrap themes into CMS templates, and contribute code to the open-source core with maintainer review. Details will be provided.

Improving the CMS and event system will help Kaleshwara Yoga better promote spiritual education, meditation and healing programs and coordinate humanitarian projects across Germany, the Czech Republic, India and Tanzania. Volunteer contributions will directly enable smoother event delivery and increased community reach.

Success means clear, prioritized tasks and active collaboration with the project maintainer who will review contributions. During volunteer interviews we will share project context, priorities, and the specifics needed to make merge-ready changes. Volunteers will be supported and mentored as needed.
