Mission Kida is a newly launched 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing free self-defense training to Jewish youth and adults in the Chicago area. We are seeking a skilled grant writer to help us identify appropriate grant opportunities and develop compelling grant proposals to Jewish foundations and community organizations.
We need a volunteer to help us:

-Identify foundations that align with our mission — Jewish community safety, youth development, and self-defense training
-Review and strengthen our existing one page donor letter and fundraising materials
-Draft or review grant proposals for our top 3-5 foundation targets
-Ensure our proposals clearly communicate our mission, proof of concept, and $100,000 funding goal
Through this grant writing partnership Mission Kida will be able to access foundation funding that directly covers 100% of student tuition, facility costs, and program operations. Every grant dollar raised means more Jewish youth and adults trained and empowered. This volunteer's work will directly fuel our ability to scale from Chicago to a national program serving Jewish communities across America.
We have a dedicated founder who will lead this project. We have existing materials ready to share including our one page donor letter, our EIN 39-2631654, our 501(c)(3) documentation, event photos, and a list of target foundations. All materials will be provided in Google Docs or Word format within 24 hours of matching.
