We are seeking a volunteer to research 10-15 organizations and identify grant and funding opportunities to support our mission. In a challenging funding environment, expanding our prospecting reach is critical to our ability to continue delivering free programs and services to the cancer community.

Triage Cancer is a national nonprofit that provides free education on the legal and practical issues that may impact people diagnosed with cancer and their caregivers, through events, materials, and resources. In 2025, we reached more than 1.4 million people through our educational materials, websites, blogs, and newsletters.
We know that individuals with a cancer diagnosis and their caregivers have questions around finances, health insurance, employment rights, estate planning, and more. Our events and resources help individuals diagnosed with cancer, their caregivers, and their health care professionals, find answers to their questions. We hope you will consider volunteering with Triage Cancer to help us continue to provide free education and resources on the legal and practical issues that impact individuals diagnosed with cancer and their caregivers.
We have already identified several industry partners and foundations, organized in a grant tracking spreadsheet, and are looking for someone to build on that foundation. This is fully remote work with flexible hours. While we are a small organization, we are committed to supporting this volunteer with time, context, and clear direction throughout the project.
