Create a Social Media Campaign for STEAM Summer Camp
By strengthening our marketing and operational capacity, this project will help us reach more families, increase enrollment in our summer camp, and build a strong foundation for the launch of our Fall 2026 microschool.
For volunteers, this is an opportunity to contribute to something tangible and immediate:
Helping a family discover an alternative, future-focused education option for their child
Supporting programs that expose students to engineering, technology, and real-world problem solving
Expanding access to learning environments that affirm identity, creativity, and leadership
The impact of this work is both short-term and long-term.
In the short term, your contributions will directly support increased enrollment in our summer camp, allowing more students to participate in hands-on STEAM experiences, including our AgriTech programming and project-based learning activities.
In the long term, this work helps us successfully launch and scale our microschool model—creating a new kind of learning environment where students are not only taught, but empowered to think critically, build confidently, and see themselves reflected in their education.
Every system improved, every campaign launched, and every process streamlined will allow our small but growing team to operate more effectively and serve more students and families in the Houston community.
Ultimately, this project is about more than marketing or operations—it’s about building the infrastructure needed to expand access to innovative education and create lasting impact for the next generation of learners.
First, there is strong internal alignment and buy-in across leadership. As COO of BE Ingenious, I am directly leading operations, enrollment, and program execution, while our Founder and leadership team are aligned on prioritizing summer camp enrollment and the Fall 2026 microschool launch as our top organizational goals.
We have already built the foundational infrastructure needed to support this work. This includes:
A defined summer camp program and microschool model
Enrollment workflows and tracking systems using Monday.com
A communication system through Spark Your School for parent engagement
Initial messaging, program descriptions, and outreach efforts already in motion
This means a marketing or administrative partner will not be starting from scratch—they will be stepping into an active, growing organization with clear direction and systems in place.
In preparation for this project, we have also:
Identified our target audience (families in the Houston area seeking innovative, STEAM-focused education)
Clarified our core messaging (future-focused learning, culturally responsive education, and whole-child development)
Outlined our immediate priorities: increasing summer camp enrollment and building a strong pipeline for microschool interest
From an implementation standpoint, outcomes from this project will be directly integrated into our day-to-day operations. Marketing deliverables (such as content calendars and campaigns) will be executed immediately across our platforms, and administrative systems or workflows will be adopted into our ongoing operations and managed internally by our team.
We are committed to being a highly engaged and responsive partner. We will provide timely feedback, clear direction, and consistent communication to ensure the project stays on track and delivers meaningful results.
Ultimately, this work directly supports our mission to expand access to innovative, culturally responsive STEAM education, and we are prepared to fully leverage the outcomes of this project to drive real impact in our community.
