Creshendo is an early-stage, global nonprofit working with migrant and refugee communities across storytelling, integration, and economic mobility.

We are building a Research and Analysis function that produces monthly, insight-driven content. As we grow, we need a clear operational system to support contributors, manage timelines, and ensure consistency.

We are seeking someone to help us design the editorial operations and workflow that will support this function.

Over a 4 to 6 week project, the volunteer will help us:

* Map the full publishing workflow from idea to publication
* Design a system to track drafts, contributors, and deadlines
* Create templates for content intake, review, and finalization
* Define clear roles and responsibilities across contributors and editors
* Build a simple system for maintaining a monthly publishing cadence
* Recommend tools and processes to support ongoing coordination

The goal is to create a workflow that is clear, repeatable, and easy for a volunteer-led team to manage.
Creshendo’s work depends on turning lived experience and program insights into clear, public-facing outputs.

Without strong operational systems, even the best ideas struggle to move forward.

This project will help us build the structure needed to consistently produce and share meaningful work, strengthening both our programs and our public voice.
You will work with Creshendo’s Executive Director and Research team. We will provide:

* Current materials, drafts, and early workflows
* Access to team members and contributors
* Context on how we want content to move across teams

We are a collaborative and fast-moving team. We are looking for someone who can bring structure, simplify complexity, and design systems that people will actually use.
