We are hosting our 9th annual Virtuous Business Leadership Academy and are seeking a volunteer to help update our career development curriculum for high school participants.

The program is a five-week immersive experience for students across the DC area, with sessions held four weeks Monday through Thursday. Through workshops, guest speakers, field trips, and a culminating business plan competition, students explore how AI tools are transforming industries such as education, healthcare, business, government, and climate innovation.

This volunteer role will involve reviewing previous curriculum content and structure and developing a finalized, updated plan to support students in designing and launching responsible, real-world AI-driven solutions.
This curriculum will connect students with positive tech-sector role models, strengthen career readiness and character development, and support academic and professional pursuits across the Washington DC metropolitan area. Volunteers’ work will directly help youth prepare to succeed in school, careers, and civic life in under-resourced communities.
The organization will share program goals, schedule, participant grade-level info, and coordinate technology professional involvement. Our team will collaborate with volunteers through regular check-ins, review drafts, and be ready to implement materials promptly. Details and priorities will be refined during interviews.
