My goal for this Taproot Project is to develop a stronger, more confident leadership foundation as the founder and sole leader of Voices For Seniors. I am looking to work with an experienced leadership coach who can help me grow as an executive leader — specifically around how to lead a board of directors, represent the organization powerfully in legislative and funding settings, make strategic decisions under pressure, and build and sustain an organization while managing multiple priorities as a one-person team. The deliverable would be a personal leadership development plan along with actionable coaching sessions that I can apply immediately to my work.
Through working with our organization on this project, the volunteer will support our mission by strengthening the person at the center of it all. Voices For Seniors is fighting for accountability and justice for New York's seniors — and the effectiveness of that fight depends heavily on my ability to lead with clarity, confidence, and credibility. A stronger leader means a stronger organization, better board relationships, more compelling conversations with legislators and funders, and ultimately more impact for the seniors we serve.
I am available for regular 60-90 minute sessions and will come prepared to each one with specific challenges and questions. I am open, coachable, and ready to grow.

Organization Mission

Voices for Seniors exists to protect and elevate vulnerable elderly populations by driving meaningful reform in long-term care through grassroots action, public education, and advocacy for stronger protective legislation. We are equally committed to seeking justice and accountability for families affected by neglect, systemic failures, and preventable loss. Through online platforms and social media, we work to reshape how society values seniors while exposing gaps in nursing home oversight and current protective laws.
