Finalize, format, and submit Wikipedia-compliant entries for Center for Story & Witness (formerly The Voices and Faces Project), its founder (Anne K. Ream), her book (Lived Through This), and our signature testimonial writing program (The Stories We Tell) using existing drafted copy. Review and refine text for notability, neutrality, and sourcing; add credible third-party citations; and manage the submission and revision process.
Publishing Wikipedia pages will increase our public visibility and accessibility, helping survivors of injustice, writers, artists, advocates, allies, funders, and the public discover our testimonial writing program, narrative advocacy trainings, and literary publications. This supports our mission to advance the work of storytelling at the grassroots level, creating a global chorus of strategic storytellers uniquely qualified to write and speak about the injustices they have lived or witnessed.
We have pre-written drafts to share and will make team members available for timely feedback and to provide any source materials we can. We will collaborate with the volunteer on citation choices and iteration during the Wikipedia review process.

Organization Mission

At Center for Story & Witness our mission is to cultivate and share stories that bear witness to gender-based violence and other social injustices in order to change minds, hearts, and public policies. Through our testimonial writing workshops, our narrative advocacy trainings, and our performances, publications and campaigns, we seek to create measurable social change through the power of narrative. For 16 years, we have been awarded the America’s Best Charities Seal of Excellence, a designation given to organizations that meet the highest standards of public accountability and program/cost effectiveness.
