We are looking for a web designer to help us completely redesign our WordPress website from the ground up. Our current site uses PageLayer, which creates significant problems with mobile loading and performance. We are moving away from PageLayer and are open to other WordPress-compatible tools and approaches that better support a clean, fast, and mobile-friendly experience.

Our print materials, including business cards, letterhead, and similar collateral, along with landing pages currently tied to active QR codes, represent the visual direction we want the new site to reflect. The designer's role is to assess our needs, understand our audiences, and develop a clear architecture and design concept that brings that direction to life online.

This project is web design-focused and will not include the following activities:
-Messaging development
-Web development
-Mobile development
For a man in the grip of addiction, the moment he decides to reach out for help is one of the most fragile and important moments of his life. More often than not, the first place he turns is a search bar or a QR code on a flyer he picked up somewhere. What he finds in those first few seconds matters.

Hope Restoration Ministries exists to walk alongside men as they break free from addiction to heroin, meth, alcohol, and other substances. We offer a Christ-centered, family-based recovery program that treats every man not as a case to manage but as a person worth fighting for. The work is real, the results are life-changing, and the need is constant.

A well designed website means that when a man, or the family member desperate to help him, lands on our page, they find something that reflects the care and credibility of the program behind it. It means our donation tools work the way they should, so the community support that keeps this ministry running keeps growing. And it means the people we exist to serve can find us, trust us, and take that next step.

The volunteer will not just improve a website. They will help make sure the door to recovery is easier to find and easier to walk through.
We have done the groundwork to make this collaboration as productive as possible. We are prepared to walk you through our current WordPress setup, including our existing GiveWP integration, which is already in place and handling donation reporting but has not been used to its full potential. Helping us get more out of GiveWP is a real priority.

We have our branding collateral ready to share, including print materials that will guide the visual direction of the redesign. We have photos, written content, and examples of sites we admire. We are also clear on our budget boundaries and can speak to those openly.

The core goal beyond design is to take the content we already have and restructure it so it flows more naturally for our visitors, performs well on mobile devices, and makes it easier for people to support our work financially.

Organization Mission

The mission of Hope Restoration Ministries is firmly rooted in a commitment to empowering men to break free from the chains of addiction, reclaim their lives, and rebuild their futures through God’s transformative love, healing, and power. At the heart of our approach lies a comprehensive recovery program designed to address the unique challenges faced by individuals battling heroin, meth, alcohol, and other harmful substances. With a Christ-centered foundation, we create a family-based model of care, treating each participant as a valued member of our own family. This compassionate and personal approach fosters a sense of belonging, accountability, and hope, nurturing sobriety and personal maturity. Our program extends beyond the goal of achieving sobriety; it focuses on holistic health, encompassing physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Through structured guidance and unwavering support, we equip each man with the tools, knowledge, and confidence needed to navigate life independently. Every step of their journey is framed by a commitment to rebuilding self-worth and instilling the resilience necessary to thrive. By the time participants graduate, they are not only drug-free but also prepared to reintegrate into society as self-sufficient individuals capable of contributing positively to their families and communities. Our ultimate goal is to offer each man the hope and opportunity for lasting transformation, empowering him to embrace a brighter future filled with purpose and possibility.
