Website Design
Our work will take place over multiple meetings in six to nine weeks. In our first meeting, the volunteer should interview us about our desired features, our web capabilities, and our technical expertise. Then, they'll synthesize the information into a requirements briefing. We'll engage in various check-ins, where a member or members of our team will provide feedback. The volunteer will audit our current site to create a draft of site architecture and design options including wireframes, site structure, and other visual elements.
Our students are resilient and determined, but many are navigating higher education without the family support, financial safety net, or professional networks that their peers often rely on. Through scholarships, mentorship, and leadership development, we are changing that trajectory.
A professionally designed website is critical to scaling this impact. Right now, our digital presence does not fully reflect the depth of our work, the strength of our outcomes, or the urgency of the need. With the support of skilled volunteers, we have the opportunity to build a website that will:
Attract more students who need scholarships and mentorship
Engage mentors who can provide life-changing guidance and support
Inspire donors and sponsors to invest in our mission
Tell powerful stories of resilience, achievement, and transformation
Your time and talent will directly contribute to increasing access to education and opportunity for youth who have experienced foster care.
Imagine a student aging out of care, unsure of their next step, finding our website and realizing—for the first time—that there is a community ready to support them through college and beyond.
Imagine a mentor signing up because they were moved by a story you helped bring to life.
Imagine a donor choosing to invest because they clearly see the impact.
That is the power of this project. By helping us build a strong digital foundation, you are not just designing a website—you are helping unlock futures, expand opportunity, and ensure that more young people have the support they need to thrive.
