Create a nonprofit‑specific chart of accounts in QuickBooks Online and establish a simple bookkeeping structure and naming conventions. Provide brief documentation of the new chart and recommended monthly bookkeeping steps. Specific account grouping and other details will be discussed with the volunteer.
A clear QuickBooks chart of accounts and bookkeeping workflow will improve financial transparency and help Uptown Dance Center track program funds, scholarships, and expenses accurately. This strengthens stewardship of resources and supports continued access to high‑quality dance education.
We will collaborate closely with the volunteer and provide required context during interviews. Details will be provided so the volunteer can review existing accounts, propose a COA, and iterate with our team for final approval and handoff.
