Our goal for this Taproot project is to develop a clear and compelling go-to-market strategy for our Fatherhood Research Center (FRC) and broader fatherhood ecosystem.

Innovative Technology Strategies (I.T.S.) operates mentorship programs such as MetaDAD and is building a data-driven Fatherhood Research Center designed to measure, improve, and scale fatherhood outcomes—particularly for young fathers, justice-involved fathers, and underserved communities.

We are seeking a skilled volunteer to help us translate this vision into a strong external-facing strategy that includes:

Clear positioning of the Fatherhood Research Center within the broader fatherhood ecosystem
Messaging that resonates with partners, funders, and community stakeholders
Identification of key target audiences and engagement pathways
A structured narrative for communicating impact, research, and program outcomes
Recommendations for how to present our work across website, presentations, and outreach materials

We are not starting from zero, we have active programs, data, and a defined vision, but we need support organizing and articulating this into a cohesive strategy that supports growth, partnerships, and funding.
This project supports our mission by strengthening how we communicate, scale, and sustain our impact in the fatherhood space.

Through this work, we are moving beyond traditional program-based messaging and toward a model that clearly communicates how fatherhood engagement can be measured, improved, and expanded through data and structured systems.

The volunteer’s work will help us:

Clearly communicate the value of our Fatherhood Research Center
Attract partners, funders, and collaborators aligned with our mission
Strengthen how we present impact across programs and research initiatives
Expand our reach to fathers and communities that need support

Ultimately, this project contributes to building a more effective and scalable model for supporting fathers and families—one that combines mentorship, research, and real-world application.
We have already laid strong groundwork for this project and are prepared to collaborate effectively with a skilled volunteer.

Our team has:

Defined the vision for a Fatherhood Research Center and supporting ecosystem
Established active programs (e.g., MetaDAD and The Father’s Table) that generate real engagement and data
Begun developing supporting systems and documenting workflows
Identified our core audiences, including young fathers, justice-involved fathers, and underserved communities

We are prepared to provide:

Clear context on our mission, programs, and long-term goals
Access to existing materials, messaging, and early-stage frameworks
Regular check-ins, feedback, and decision-making support
A committed internal team ready to implement recommendations

We are approaching this project with a clear vision and strong internal alignment, and we intend to actively apply the outcomes to strengthen our positioning, outreach, and partnerships.
