About the Opportunity

I am seeking a web developer with skilled experience in Wordpress via Cpanel in GoDaddy to build our Chamber's new website. I have selected OceansWP as our Wordpress theme and we have the front page designed. We are ready to get going with this project! We are looking for help migrating our site and domain to the new platform.

The mission of the Chamber is:
- To promote and protect the interests of its members through advocacy, networking, marketing and services that foster business growth and economic development;
- To promote, protect, conserve and preserve the natural resources of our trade territories, especially the land, waters and ecosystems of our lakes, Buchanan and Inks;
- To build community through engagement, social events, social networking and community support.

Your volunteer work with our organization will assist our staff in focusing in on our promised goals and objectives to our members and the community as well as provide us a focal point via our website for tourists, members, locals and other nonprofits alike to use as an effective marketing and fundraising tool.

We have already thought about and are prepared to brief you about our current website platform, restrictions for the build, our branding collaterals and norms, and information about our stakeholder groups and target audiences. We've also compiled some photos and have some language developed that we will share with you.
