Books for Classrooms is looking for a volunteer to create a one-month content calendar template and a prioritized review of our existing marketing plan. The volunteer will map monthly content themes, recommend apps/websites for scheduling posts, and provide actionable suggestions to improve cadence and messaging. Specifics can be discussed during volunteer interviews.
A clear monthly content calendar and improved marketing plan will help Books for Classrooms reach more teachers and Title I schools, increase book requests and donations, and highlight diverse, educator-reviewed books that promote literacy, social justice, and environmental awareness. Volunteers will directly expand the organization’s reach and impact.
You will provide the current marketing plan for review and be available to discuss goals and target audiences. Details about existing channels and posting frequency will be provided during interviews so the volunteer can give practical, implementable recommendations and hand off editable templates.
